Michael Schmidt’s whistle blowing

F1 journalist Michael Schmidt reveals that the Austrian team believes they can benefit the most from reducing the number of practice sessions due to their superior simulation tools compared to the rest of the grid. Additionally, the mandatory tire usage helps minimize risks during the session.

Many anticipated that Red Bull would oppose the new arrangement, fearing it could jeopardize their continued dominance throughout the 2023 season. The team has triumphed in all five races thus far, with four of them featuring remarkable 1-2 finishes for Red Bull.
