Orit Entertainment together With Skydance Television

Oscar winner, Octavia Spencer’s company Orit Entertainment gets into the first-look deal with the Skydance TV Television. Skydance studio will get an exclusive TV series from the actress’ ‘Shingle’. This collaboration is a multi-year deal between the two which will have many projects produced.

What will the Shingle do?

Orit’s Shingle has two people running the show, Stephanie Kluft & Brian Clisham. They are given the task by their Boss Octavia that they will spearhead the & produce the original series for Skydance studio with Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan & Grace and Frankie, Reacher, Foundation. Octavia Spencer will probably star in one, but this report isn’t confirmed yet.

Previous work of Octavia Spencer in Hollywood

Spencer isn’t new to working in Hollywood. Octavia is currently acting in ‘Truth Be Told’ which is an Orit’s production, before this, Spencer has produced ‘Self-made’ which was inspired by the struggles and life of C.J.Walker & ‘Right To Try’.

Octavia’s company previously got into the contract with Discovery + & October films in June 2022 for ‘Unscripted’ and with that she was also a part of a podcast with ABC signature.

History of Orit Entertainment

Academy award winner’s Orit Entertertainment was launched in 2019. It was spearheaded by Clisham & Spencer. Kluft served as the Head of development and Production at Orit. With its collaboration with ID, Discovery plus and October Flims, Spencers’ company is a project called ‘Highway 20’ which is a crime documentary series over the women who got vanished from 1970s to 1990s in the town of Oregon.
